The Story

John and I recently performed in Sweden and I borrowed one of the guitars I built for Rickard there. Thanks, Rickard! It had a wiring that I came up with years ago but hadn't used in a long time. I called the wiring "Versatone" because of the flexibility. With a HSH configuration of pickups, I wire the middle single coil to a volume control and auto-split positions 2 and 4. In the 2 and 4 positions then, one is able to turn down the middle pickup to get just the single-coil sound of the humbucker and everything in between! I love to turn it down just a little to get more bite. So the controls are Master Volume, Middle Volume, Master Tone. These are some of the best guitars I have ever sold. The pickups are not major brand named but they work perfectly for this style of guitar. The guitars all feature locking tuners with a Graph Tech string tree for solid tremolo performance from the big steel block tremolos, solid Ash bodies, Maple neck with satin finish. Frets are medium jumbo and are leveled, crowned and polished. They all play great and sound amazing! Try to find another deal like this anywhere! Email me
